I have been at Manila in Philippines for about two months. My stay is about to complete and I will be returning to India on 31st May. Voila!
This two months have been a long span, very long span.
Quotes from my diary on a return trip from Batangas to Manila:
"This place resembles my native. The resemblance makes me feel at home. The same rice fields, the same greenery, the same banana trees, the same forest like greenery everywhere. When the rains are pouring it may even have the same smell, unfortunately I am travellng in an aircon vehicle.
When I see the people, I am reminded that I am in Philippines. I am passing through an entirely foreign culture than mine. But I somehow love the Filipinos. They are so innocent in their thoughts, action, speech, walk of life that everyone will surely love them.
If you are a stressbuste then take notice how they are living, you might learn new ways of stopping stress. They live their lives so happily.
But like most of the asian mentality they feel inferior to others. They are totally dependant on (either in thoughts or for supplies) other countries. The population is so vastly expanding that it is not able to properly feed all of them."
