I have been dreaming about owning a SLR and satisfying my quench of taking still pictures much better than I had been doing with a normal digital camera so far. The first impression was not much different from owning a digital camera (a much better one). This was because I was shooting in FULL AUTO mode. It was as simple as shooting with my digital camera and the picture quality was simply superb.
Then for the past six days I have been venturing with zooming and manual focusing, flash (built-in) as well. Even these startup experiments are giving incredible results. I am really impressed with the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi/Canon EOS 450D DSLR that I am owning now. It is really a wonderful piece of photo taking gadget.
