Farewell Mr. President, Kalam

A.P.J Abdul Kalam was very much appropriate to be in the place of president of India. I have rarely encountered anybody talking against him in the position in his tenure of 5 years. The years may be big at one sight, but I feel the days have passed by quickly.

I see the media remembering him still as the misile man, highly enthusiastic techno loving man. But hardly any channel or press have remembered what he did outside of that.

For me, he is still a big inspiration factor for youth. He always taught to respect the elders, and at the same time to learn to dream. He was the person who said that by dreaming big, achieve big. He knew how youth reacted, may be from his earlier profession (and also the present) as a teacher. He knew how one has to address the younger generation. But let me tell you one more thing he did not impress the "not so" youth generation. He has been an okay kind of person for them. Also there has been more allegations that his popularity was limited within the urban middle class. But the case is not so.

Apart from teaching to achieve by dreaming, he taught us to be a disciplined Indian. Not only he taught that but he was also a role model for the same.

He also made a unity in thinking of Indians. He made point clear that by aiming to be a developed country we are not planning a complete transformation of our country. By keeping an eye catchy theme "India 2020" he has made almost all our citizens to think, to think about how to achieve; to think about what to do; to think about our country as a whole. He added one more reason for all of us to be proud, about our country India.

He ignited all of his readers with his thoughts and action, made everybody dream high in the wings of thoughts and levelled our minds to be part and parcels of big mission India 2020.

Let the lord shower many more good years to come for him; and make us all set to aim and achieve our all big mission. Also let the almighty make his presence felt for the big occassion and many more years after that.

Jai Hind.
