Special gift - preserve it

The world is with so many differences,
but it is still an unique place.
The god is represented as many,
but it is still one god that rules.

The men are so different with each other,
but he is still a unique being.
The animals are breathtakingly different and numerous,
but still they live in a single place.

The cultures are so varied,
but still all preach good worthiness.
The religions are far more deep rooted,
but still each one of them have different ways.

The situations may be same,
but people react differently.
The life is so precious,
but people may not value it much.

Life is a gift; you have to accept it,
but it is no simple special gift; it is life.

The above poem recites the importance of preserving the special gift called life. Though it does not narrate the good things or bad things about life, it takes a different route of telling that even for similar things differences exist; thereby promoting faith for living. Through this narration of differences it is also meant that you may think life is useless, but it is actually precious, invaluable and very special gift from Lord.

Dear Ananthnarayan,

So now we have one more poet on Nukkad. The language of this poem is straight from the heart. It is easy to understand and quite enjoyable to read except at one or two places where the lines become a bit too long for recitation.

Thanks for sharing the poem with us.
